This youkai who manipulates gaps and boundaries is
behind the vile plot to use Yuyuko and Remilia
to bring down spring snows and rebuild the Scarlet Devil Castle.

Hehe. You'll mess up that lovely face of yours.”

Reimu Hakurei

This shrine maiden of the Hakurei Shrine
with the ability to soar into the heavens seems to be
behind the dark events unfolding, but she's actually
under the employ of Ran Yakumo and knows nothing.

“That's none of your business. There's only one thing I can tell you:
you should get out of here as fast as you can.”

As shikigami of Yukari Yakumo, a nine-tailed fox,
and a shikigami user herself, she's been assigned the role of
stalling so her master can accomplish her goals.

so close to finishing Yukari's plan…….”

As shikigami of Ran Yakumo,
this magic-wielding youkai kitty prevents Sakuya's party
from entering the castle.

“Agh! The maid of Scarlet Devil Castle!
What are you doing here?”

Hong Meiling

While napping in the castle gardens, this gatekeeper
with the ability to use Qi was attacked, tied up,
then thrown in front of the castle.

“P-please don't talk like that!
We have to do something and fast...!”

Alice Margatroid

This doll-controlling magician came to the castle
after sensing an ominous energy.
On her arrival, Sakuya mistakes her for Meiling's attacker.

“Right! I felt this strange energy coming from this direction…
I just felt something...”

Komachi Onozuka

Though Komachi normally uses her ability
to manipulate distances to ferry souls across the Sanzu River,
she's running her fairy service in the basement of the castle
for some reason.

This blade-wielding half-human half-phantom gardener of Hakugyokurou
is waiting for Sakuya's party in the basement of the castle.

in the castle once more, but she seems more focused
on the library's books than finding out why that may be.

collapsed in the library, Patchouli joins Sakuya in her search for Remilia.

to destroy everything, breaks in to wreak havoc after a battle with Ran,
but then decides to tag along, interested in Reimu's suggestion.

With her ability to control death, this ghost cooperates in
stealing away spring in Gensokyo to make the youkai cherry blossom tree,
Saigyou Ayakashi, bloom once more.
